Jamie Frank, MS
Jamie Frank, MS
Senior Clinical Research Project Manager
Jamie Frank obtained a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medical Biology and Chemistry from the University of New Orleans in 2014. He then continued his education through the University of Southern California’s Regulatory Science program, obtaining a Master of Science in Management of Drug Development. This educational background has provided him with career-relevant knowledge including anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, as well as an extensive understanding of GCP, GMP, GLP, NMEs, NDEs, and INDs.
Jamie’s research experience began in the laboratory, where he worked on the generation of iPSCs using in vitro OSKM-induced reprogramming in naked mole rat fibroblasts. This laboratory experience sparked an interest in research related to regenerative medicine and biogerontology, leading him to be involved in a research project involving metformin and its ability to extend lifespan in C. elegans. After this research project, Jamie decided to enter the field of clinical research, as a research assistant, working for an independent site in the New Orleans area. He then took an opportunity to work as a research coordinator with another independent site in New Orleans, followed by a position as a research manager at Ochsner Hospital.
Throughout his clinical research experience he has worked with a variety of indications including DVT, diabetes, h. pylori, COPD, osteoarthritis pain, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, PSP, and ALS using both drugs and devices in Phases II-post marketing registries.
Missing the intimate setting of an independent research site, Jamie returned to his roots by joining the team at NOLA Research Works and Women Under Study as a project manager for both women’s health and gastroenterology trials. Aside from being a leading professional in project management, Jamie is always quick with a smile or a joke and has an ever optimistic, cheery demeanor with patients that is hard to find in the clinical field. He is a tremendous asset to the clinical team.
